Christie's

Jewelry designed by Boehmer et Bassenge’s new boutique Maison de Haute Joaillerie will co-lead the Christie’s Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva on November 15, 2016. The top lot, a pair of diamond earrings was sold at more than CHF 96 million / $ 98 million. They featured the world’s largest pair of pear-shaped, D-color, flawless diamonds with a symmetrical cut and weigh 52.55 carats and 50.47 carats.

Sotheby's

The centrepiece of Sotheby’s November 2016 auction of Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels in Geneva was a Fancy Vivid Blue diamond ring by Cartier. Multiple records were broken in the Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels auction, which achieved a total of CHF 136,734,500 / $136,428,215 – the highest total for any jewellery sale that season.

Bonhams

The star of the sale at a Bonhams Fine Jewelry sale (20th September 2016) was a very rare oval-cut blue diamond. Weighing 3.81 carats, the Fancy Intense Blue diamond hails from a private British collection and sold for £2,322,500 ($792,450 per carat).
